If you receive cash aid from a county welfare department, have children, and are enrolled in college or want to sign up for college, you can participate in the CalWORKs Program at Madera College and Oakhurst Center.
While you attend classes and educational activities, you may be able to leave toddler on campus with the Madera Community College Child Development Center. You'll get priority acceptance for enrollment.
Our Work Study program will help you find a job on campus. You'll gain valuable job skills, earn references, and get a paycheck in addition to your regular cash aid grant.
