Parking Permits and Parking Tickets

Buy your permit now

The fee for a parking permit is $30 per semester for the spring and fall semesters, while the summer semester parking permit costs $20. Fees are subject to change without notice.

All vehicles must display a State Center Community College District (SCCCD) parking permit to park in campus parking lots. Parking permits may be purchased at any campus or center and may be used at all SCCCD campuses.

Please visit the My Campus Permit website to purchase your permit and for more information. You can also use the link in MyPortal.

The new system requires an SCCCD login and your vehicle's license plate number, make and color. You will also need to enter an address where your permit can be mailed to. A temporary permit can be printed which is good for two weeks until you receive your permit in the mail.

Students will be ticketed if they park in designated staff parking spaces or ADA handicapped stalls without proper permit.

While all students, faculty, and staff should purchase their parking permits before the start of the Fall 2023 semester to ensure prompt delivery, vehicles parked in generic/un-reserved parking spaces during the first week of classes will not be issued a ticket. During the first week of classes, any vehicle parked in a parking space reserved for faculty/staff without a permit will be issued a citation.

Enforcement for parking permits will begin on the first day of class.

  • Students will be ticketed in staff stalls or ADA handicapped stalls without a proper permit.
  • There will be relaxed parking during the first week of the semester only in student stalls.

Daily permits can be purchased online at My Campus Permit for $1 and may be used to park in any stall, with the exception of stalls designated for the Disabled, EV Vehicle, Motorcycle, Staff, and those marked red or green.

  • Fall permits ($30.00) are available for sale starting July 1
  • Spring permits ($30.00) are available for sale starting December 1
  • Summer permits ($20.00) are available for sale starting May 1
  • Annual Staff Permits ($80.00) are available for sale Starting July 1.

Motorcycles may park in designated motorcycle parking stalls free of charge. Please note that you will need to add your motorcycle information into your My Campus Permit account and purchase a zero-dollar motorcycle permit.

When motorcycles are parked outside of designated motorcycle parking areas, a regular student parking permit will still be required.

Accessible Parking is available on campus for students who have a DMV disabled placard or license plate. Check here to visit the California Department of Motor Vehicles’ website for information on obtaining a permanent disabled person placard.
