We are happy to provide research instruction for your students, which are referred to as Bibliographic Instruction Sessions. Instruction can be customized to meet the specific needs of your class. Some possible topics include a general introduction to the library and its services, a guided tour of the library’s online research databases, the evaluation of websites for credibility and authority, and information literacy skills.
To schedule a library bibliographic instruction session, contact us at (559) 675-4835 or library@maderacollege.edu. Please attempt to schedule these sessions with at least two weeks prior notice; we will make an attempt to facilitate sessions on a shorter notice but these sessions cannot be guaranteed and may have to be rescheduled.
