Students can only apply for graduation via Self Service.
Step 1 – Log into MyPortal
Step 2 – Select “Self Service”.
Step 3 – Select "Apply for Degree/Certificate
Step 4 – Select all degrees/certificates you wish to apply for and “Submit” Note: All Madera College program codes start with an “M.” If you select a program with a code that starts with another letter, you are not applying for a Madera College Degree/Certificate.
If the program you wish to apply for is not listed, you will need to see a Madera counselor.
Step 5 – Confirm your name and address and “Submit.” Your degree/certificate will be mailed to the address you enter, so please ensure it is correct.
If you are applying for more than one Degree/Certificate, repeat the process above.
Applications for graduation will be processed within 4 to 6 weeks. Once your degree/certificate has been evaluated by our Evaluations Staff, you will be notified of your graduation status via student email. All communication regarding graduation will be sent to your student email.
Approximately 60 to 90 days after the end of the semester, diplomas and certificates will be mailed to all graduates, free of charge. Diplomas/certificates will be mailed to the address listed on your graduation application.
